Understanding Cognitive FreedomYour Mind.
Your Own.
What Is Cognitive Freedom?
Cognitive Freedom is the principle that your thoughts, mental processes, and inner life deserve protection.
It means having a say in what can access, interpret, or influence your mind, and protection from unwanted manipulation, interference, surveillance, or control.
The freedom to think for yourself is part of what makes you human.

Technology & Human RightsThe Future Is
Getting Closer.
Brain-computer interfaces, neurotechnology, and AI are opening new possibilities for health, communication, and human potential.
As tools become better at interpreting or influencing aspects of brain activity, we need to ask who controls neural data, how consent works, and where the boundaries should be.

Neuro Frequency Investigation Initiative
Start with a Question.
Follow the Evidence.
NFII is the Coalition's initiative for independent research into reported experiences involving the environment, brain, and body.
We help participants describe what happened and give investigators a practical starting point: what to measure, what to compare, and how to preserve the record.
Careful methods matter. Positive, negative, and inconclusive findings all help us understand what the evidence can tell us.
Track A: The Environment
Measure signals and conditions around a person. Compare event periods, check ordinary sources, and look for repeatable findings.
Explore Track ATrack B: Brain and Body
Measure brain or body activity around a reported experience. Check recording quality and compare changes with a baseline.

Building the Framework
Before We Need It.
We have an opportunity to ask these questions before advanced neurotechnology becomes part of everyday life.
The Cognitive Freedom Coalition is being built as a global resource for education, research, public awareness, and dialogue. Our purpose is to help people and institutions understand what is emerging, discuss what matters, and prepare protections for the future.
Freedom of Thought. Without Compromise.
